In brief, GramControl helps users manage their Instagram experience by limiting distractions such as recommendations, reels, comments, and suggestions.
Yet another extension I created to fulfil my own needs. I found myself spending too much time on Instagram scrolling through content that did not add any value to my life. While I wanted to stay connected with friends and family, I also needed a way to limit the unnecessary distractions. In other words, to avoid the endless recommended content, including the reels and explore pages.
This is the product I spent the least amount of time developing and I was debating whether to release it on the web stores. I hope that other people find it as useful as I do.
The extension was released in September 2025.
