These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the browser extensions, desktop app, and related services provided by Grounded Momentum ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our extensions, our desktop app, or the optional Plus syncing service, you agree to these Terms.

The browser extensions are open source and licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). The desktop app is a proprietary, closed-source application. The optional Plus service, which enables account-based syncing across devices, is a closed-source, paid service provided by our proprietary backend.
Our extensions’ source code is freely available under the GPL-3.0 license. This means you may view, modify, and redistribute the code, provided that any derivative works comply with the same license terms.
However, this open-source license applies only to the extension code itself. It does not grant any rights to our proprietary backend systems, APIs, or data synchronization services.
The Plus service enables optional syncing of user data such as timers, focus sessions, blocklists, and configuration settings across devices, including our browser extensions and desktop app. This service is hosted on our servers located in Europe and is available only to paying subscribers.
By subscribing, you agree that:
All payments for the Plus subscription are securely processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, taxes (including VAT where applicable), and refund processing on our behalf.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial payment. Refunds requested after this period may be considered only in exceptional cases at our discretion.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Paddle account or by contacting us. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically trigger a refund for the remaining time on your current billing period.
To request a refund, please contact Paddle directly using your purchase receipt, or reach out to us at support@groundedmomentum.com and we will assist you in the process.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Plus service if you violate these Terms or abuse the system. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Paddle.
You may log in using a Google account via OAuth for authentication. Only basic profile information (email address) is requested and stored. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any sensitive data. Authentication is used solely to identify your account for syncing purposes.
You agree not to misuse our extensions, desktop app, or services. This includes, but is not limited to:
All intellectual property related to the proprietary backend, website, and trademarks of Grounded Momentum remains the sole property of the owner. The open-source extensions remain governed by their respective GPL-3.0 licenses.
Our extensions, desktop app, and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, freedom from bugs, or compatibility with all browsers, operating systems, or devices.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grounded Momentum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or productivity, arising out of or related to the use of our extensions, desktop app, or services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at groundedmomentum.com . Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
